After a Game 7 Canadiens victory, Bettman asks who the Captain is... the response from the bench is a sheepesh look from the coaching staff -- "we don't have one..." at which point Bettman shrugs his shoulders and announces the Philidelphia Flyers the victor.

When the Bulldogs won the Calder, beating the perennial favourite Hersey Bears, they did not have a captain. Sure they unofficially labelled Ajay Baines as captain BUT no one had a C on their sweater. They had four captains (Eric Manlow, Ajay Baines, Dan Jancevski, and Jonathan Ferland). All four of them went to collect the trophy together.
